Welcome to the Team!

Welcome to the Team!

We are SO thrilled to welcome Kristen Remillard onboard as the newest staff member of OneFamily! Kristen has a Masters in Biblical Counseling and will serve the OneFamily mission in many amazing ways!

Kristen has always had a heart for children, especially those at risk. She has worked in children’s ministry over the past 10 years and as an Ambassador to raise awareness against child sex trafficking and exploitation. Kristen also has experience in lay counseling for a pregnancy crisis center and worked with aged-out foster youth.

Kristen has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and a Masters of Science in Counseling, as well as some theological/seminary training, all from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.

Her passion has always been to see children treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. James 1:27 tells us that if we are to do anything “religious” at all, to take care of the orphans and widows in their distress. So that is what she does. Following Christ and serving Him as her Savior, Lord, Friend, and King is her life’s purpose, and she is excited for this new journey with OneFamily to serve in the beautiful mission of helping the most precious treasures of God - His children.

For abused, neglected, and at-risk children,

The OneFamily Team

Happy Birthday to OneFamily!

Happy Birthday to us! It is hard to believe that last month marked the 10-year "birthday" of OneFamily! We are incredibly grateful for the support of everyone over the years, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate what we have achieved together.

OneFamily exists to train the local community to raise up and support families, children, and sibling groups who need temporary homes through foster care or forever homes through adoption. Our mission is to have every child fed, clothed, and part of a family. We help families, train churches, and partner with businesses to enrich our community and beyond. We aim to see the power of community, the unity of churches, and businesses to come together to support efforts to help foster children and the families caring for them.

This is where you come in! As we recently celebrated our 10th anniversary, we ask our supporters to consider donating to the mission to help further the impact and reach that OneFamily has on our community and beyond. No matter how small, every donation helps us continue our mission to create a community where every child is part of a family. If you would please consider donating, you can give directly with the button below.

Thank you again for your support over the years. Together, we can make a difference and give every child a chance to thrive!

Foster Adoptive & Support Group

Calling all foster and adoptive families and relative caregivers! Sandra Hogue has been speaking at a weekly Support Group on Wednesdays. The group meets every week until November 1.

Join us at the Calvary Kids Center located at 1687 W. Granada Blvd. from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Childcare is included with RSVP to wraparound@calvaryfl.com. Please share this with your friends who could use the support. We look forward to seeing you there!

November marks the start of National Adoption Awareness Month, a time when we celebrate the power of love, family, and connection. This is a special time for everyone involved in adoption and foster care. We recognize the amazing parents and families who open their hearts and homes to children needing a loving and stable home. Through education, advocacy, and support, National Adoption Awareness Month encourages everyone to explore how adoption can bring joy and fulfillment to our lives. Let us join hands in recognizing the gift of adoption and all the wonderful things it brings to our communities!

The OneFamily Center

We are excited to share that the asking price for the ministry building we hope to purchase for the OneFamily Center has been reduced to $2.5 million. With your help, we can get closer to achieving this dream. The OneFamily Center will be a hub for changing the lives of orphaned children, creating stable family environments, and distributing essential resources to those who need them most.

Through your faithful giving, we are confident that we can extend our reach beyond Volusia County and Flagler County and achieve even greater heights beyond our imagination. Please visit OneFamilyfl.com/donate or mail your financial gift to 271 Rodeo Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174, to contribute towards this goal. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to the OneFamily movement.
