About the event
The Invisible Mission Field is a powerful documentary that follows Stephen and Sandra Hogue, a Florida couple whose journey from children’s ministry to fostering and adopting children grew into a statewide movement to engage churches in caring for vulnerable children and families.
As parents to ten adopted children and longtime caregivers to many others, the Hogues reveal why they call foster care an “invisible mission field”—a place of extraordinary need that exists in every community, yet often goes unseen by the Church.
Through intimate family moments, inspiring stories of hope, Royal Family Kids Camp, church partnerships, and efforts to strengthen families across Florida, the film demonstrates how ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference when they answer the call to serve.
More than a documentary, The Invisible Mission Field is an invitation to see the mission field around you with new eyes—and discover how your church, your family, and your community can become part of restoring hope to children and families in crisis.
